Just a brief post regarding the rising water levels. So far, we are not suffering any repercussions from the insane amount of rain that we have received this year. In fact, we are enjoying the view. It's nice to be able to see the river from the comfort of a screened in porch.   To the southwest of us, at Trilby and 301 and flooding to the northwest of us at Croom.  Here are some pictures from our place:

Side view of the two trees at the top of river bank.  There is normally plenty of flat land to sit on at the bottom of this slop which can be seen immediately above in the August 19th photo.
